2013-14 1 To take initiative to develop academic calendar to systematise the whole year academic activity and assists academic subcommittee/routine subcommittee to maintain proper distribution of time schedule.
To suggest Academic Subcommittee to prepare modular distribution of syllabus.
To suggest different departments to organise invited lectures or extension lectures.
Academic calendar of overall college and different departments has been prepared and provided to students.
Some departments initiated to distribute the syllabus in modular fashion to different faculties among the department and informed students about the distribution.
Some departments started to invite faculties from different institutes to deliver lectures to popularize the subject areas to the students.
2013-14 2 To encourage faculty members to undertake UGC sponsored MRP.
To organise programmes for skill development of non-teaching staff.
To take initiative for CAS promotion in PBAS.
As per IQAC encouragement few faculties initiated to send projects and initiated their project based research. However, IQAC strongly recommended college to extend support to these initiatives as soon and as far as possible.
College has started to think and execute such activities for staffs.
Some teachers prepared their CAS documents with the help of IQAC and had gone through the scheduled process for career advancement.
2014-15 1 To encourage teachers for research to enhance quality of teaching and suggested college authority to provide research infrastructure and encouragement.
Implementation of teaching in practical field, different field and project works are recommended to different departments.
Teachers started and continued initiatives. College extended few supports, but several basic facilities are needed to be extended.
Some departments involved students in field work and preparing systematic reports on the work.
2014-15 2 To assist Teachers’ Council in Academic activities, viz. formation of routine, academic calendar etc.
To upgrade of IT infrastructure through implementation of internet facilities.
To recommend and implement online admission system.

 

Usual routine, academic calendar and other activities were pursued.

 

Partial internet connections initiated in Principal’s room and office rooms.
Initiatives have been taken to introduce online admission system.

2015-16 1 To recommend internet access throughout the college and across the departments for the use of teachers and students.
To recommend development of ICT based teaching methodology in the college.
To suggest college authorities to develop infrastructural support for science departments regarding use of chemicals and its disposal, animal house and ethical committee development.
College is in the process of extending internet facilities.

 

College is preparing the plane for ICT based class room development.
College has taken initiatives for progress in this direction.

2015-16 2 To take initiatives for the 2nd cycle of NAAC. To request teaching staff to submit information of their self appraisal format provided by UGC. College has taken initiatives in this direction.
2016-17 1 To continue the compulsory computer education for all students.
To completely digitize the student database and other official information.
To enable access to the student and office data to IQAC.
Increase of library area.
Partially achieved but require more initiatives to fulfill the objective.

2017-18 1 To enhance the infrastructural facilities and efficiency of the College.

 

To introduce digital payment gateway for online payment.
To upload lecture notes in the website for the benefit of the students.

i.Water sensor reservoir has been implemented to prevent the misuse of water.
ii. Installation of change over switch for saving electricity.
iii. Enhancement of cable wire capacity is under progress.

2017-18 2 To provide institutional email id and bulk SMS facilities to teachers, office staff, and students.
To computerize the results of students.
To introduce some new courses/departments.

Sociology and Psychology departments have been opened and Honours courses have been introduced in Food & Nutrition and Philosophy departments.

Note:

The IQAC Committee has met, informally, on several other occasions to college authorities, Principal, other committee members and stakeholders to initiate the activities, convince and pursue the recommended works whose details have not been included in the above list. In such meetings, fruitful continuous discussions had been undertaken by IQAC for fruitful execution of recommendations pertaining to the above mentioned minutes and action taken.
